How to use Package Barcodes to Streamline Fulfillment
ANSWER
ShipHawk supports the printing of barcodes that represent each packing material in your warehouse. These barcodes can be used at the packing station to quickly switch the packing material you wish to use for each package in a shipment.
Using Package Barcodes Checklist
To successfully use Package Barcodes, the following tasks are required prior to use:
Finish adding all packing materials to ShipHawk.
A barcode scanner must be attached to the computer where ShipHawk is being used.
A printer must be available at the computer where ShipHawk is being used.
Packing Material. A Packing Material is either a Box, Pallet, or Envelope that can be used to fulfill Shipments in ShipHawk.
Printing Package Barcodes
This section provides instructions for printing package barcodes in ShipHawk.
To print packing material barcodes:
Log into your ShipHawk account. The ShipHawk dashboard appears.
Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the dashboard and choose Settings from the listed menu options.
The Settings screen appears.Click the Packing Materials link on the left menu. The Packing Materials screen appears.
Click on the Generate Barcodes button.
The Generate Barcodes screen appears.Click on the Generate Barcodes for Warehouse(s) drop-down field. You can choose to print barcodes for a particular warehouse or all warehouses.
Click the Generate Barcodes button.
A PDF will be downloaded and can be opened, viewed, and printed.

Assigning Packing Materials to Shipments
This section provides instructions for assigning packing materials to shipments by scanning package barcodes.
To use a package barcode
Log into your ShipHawk account. The ShipHawk dashboard appears.
Click on the Orders link in the top menu of the dashboard. The Orders screen appears.
Locate the order that you want to fulfill and click on that order to open the order details. The Order [Number] screen appears.
Scan the desired packing material to assign it to the shipment.
Repeat this process for each shipment you wish to change.
