Carrier Workflow

As a carrier, you will receive an email from the shipper with a quote request. The email includes a link to the ShipHawk Quote Portal. Do not reply to the email; instead, go to the ShipHawk Quote Portal:

To offer a quote:

  1. Click Add Quote.

  2. Enter a quote description, rate, and estimated delivery date, and then click Save quotes and send to shipper:

  3. In the left-hand Messaging area, you can see your quote has been sent to the shipper. You can correspond further with the shipper as needed.

  4. Once the shipper accepts the quote, you will see their reply in the Messaging area:

  5. You can communicate further with the shipper as needed. Interactions will be displayed in your regular email inbox; each email will include a link to the ShipHawk Quote Portal for any communications about the quote.

  6. Once the shipper you are communicating with selects your quote in the ShipHawk TMS, and then selects Save & Ship for the order, the quote status updates to Accepted.
