Shipment Details View

In ShipHawk TMS, when you click on a shipment number from the Shipment History screen, you will be redirected to the Shipment Details view. The Shipment Details page is where you can review shipments one-by-one and perform single shipment actions.

This section will go over all the UI elements present on a Shipment Details view, including all the actions you can perform on a single shipment.

Shipment Details View

The Shipment Details page displays all the details of a specific shipment including tracking numbers, dates, cost summary, package information and pickup/delivery addresses. You can drill down to the details of a single shipment by clicking on the shipment number in the main Shipments page, this will redirect you to the Shipment Details page.

Shipment Detail Screen Elements

Status: The status of this individual shipment, you can manually change the status of the shipment by selecting a different status from the drop-down.

 

Shipping panel: This panel outlines details of your shipment. 

Tracking panel:  Use the tracking number provided to get an update on your shipment. The carrier tracking number is highlighted in green. You can use the Edit (Pencil ) icon to edit your tracking number.

Dispatch panel: Displays the date when the order has been picked up by the carrier.

Notes panel: All notes or reminders related to your shipment are displayed here. You can manually add a new note for your shipment by clicking the plus icon at the top right hand corner of the panel.

Documents panel: The Documents section is where you can download or upload relevant shipping documents. Documents include BOLs, PODs, insurance certificates, Commercial Invoices, Labels, inspections, reports, images and more. 

 

Packages panel: Displays the number and type of packages shipping with your shipment.

Line Items panel: Lists the specific SKUs (or groups of SKUs) associated with each package in the shipment.


Actions

The Actions sidebar contains a list of actions you can take from the Shipment Details page. The following section will define each action in the sidebar.

Print BOL: Click this action to print or email labels of BOLs associated with this shipment.

Print Address Labels: Click this action to generate and print the address label associated with your shipment. Address labels are typically used for returns.

Print Packing Slip: Click this action to print the packing slip, which is a document that contains a list of items in a shipping container.

Print High Value Report: Click this action to print a UPS High-Value Report for insured shipments over $1,000 (only displayed if generated by UPS).

Print Carton Labels: Click this action to print the carton label associated with this shipment. Carton labels are shipping documents affixed to cartons that quickly identify items contained in the carton.

Email Docs: Click this action to email the shipping documentation associated with this shipment to a receipt of choice. Enter the Recipient’s Email and adjust the email content in the Email Shipping Docs pop-up. Select the documents to send using the checkboxes (Package Labels, Package Labels Combined, Return Labels, BOL, Address Label, and Commercial Invoice). The destination name and your company name are automatically populated but you can change them as needed:

Add Exception: Select Add Exception to create a new Exception Code for your shipment. This is a way to red flag the shipment so that both ShipHawk, its network providers and the Customer can all recognize problem shipments. Exceptions indicate damage, weather delay, incorrect address information, or any other elements that require a customer, ShipHawk and/or a Network Location to review.

 

Add Reference: Select Add Reference to add a Reference ID to your shipment.

Cancel Shipment: Select Cancel Shipment to cancel a shipment that has not yet reached In Transit status. A user may cancel the shipment at any point up until the carrier scans the package. After the carrier scans the package label and accepts the parcel into their system, the shipment is moved to In Transit status and can no longer be cancelled. 

Assignee: You can use this field to assign a shipment to a ShipHawk user.
