Support FOR Amazon Transportation For Vendor Central Customers

ShipHawk customers that have an Amazon Vendor Central account can now use Amazon Transportation as a carrier to fulfill their Amazon purchase orders.

Customers looking to utilize Amazon Transportation will need to add Amazon Vendor Central order information when posting the orders to ShipHawk through their ERP system. Contact your ShipHawk Account Manager to set up Amazon Transportation.

DHL Preferred Integration

ShipHawk now offers rating and international shipping via DHL Preferred (DHL Express through Preferred Shipping). DHL Preferred is an authorized DHL Express reseller that sets rates outside of DHL Express.

When integrated, DHL Preferred will be used for rating across all ShipHawk services. Your DHL Preferred account can be connected in ShipHawk from the Carriers page. To add this carrier connector to your account, please contact ShipHawk Customer Success.

Support for Multi-Location Orders in Shopify

ShipHawk’s integration with Shopify has been updated to support the multiple location setup in Shopify. With this update, users who have not integrated an ERP source system can now use Shopify as their source system.

Similar to the concept of Warehouses in ShipHawk, Shopify locations are physical or virtual places where products are stored, shipped, and fulfilled. When multiple locations are set up in Shopify,  Shopify will automatically split orders where inventory is out of stock at one location, but available at another location. This means orders are being fulfilled from multiple locations. ShipHawk can now fulfill orders like this by generating proposed shipments where items are grouped by location.

Package-Level Packing Slips

You can now create and print package-level packing slips in ShipHawk. By default, ShipHawk prints packing slips for each shipment that is booked. With package-level packing slips, you can print a packing slip for each package in the shipment. These packing slips are limited to only line items that belong to the package.

Package-level packing slips can be applied through the Rule Actions: Use specific Packing Slip and Use specific Packing Slip for only the proposed shipment. After these rules are applied, the system will automatically generate a packing slip for each package associated with a shipment and print the combined packing slips when prompted.

ShipHawk Admin level users can create and apply 8.5 x 11, 4 x 6, 4 x 6.75, and 4 x 8 package-level packing slip templates using HTML under Settings > Packing Slips > Create New Template

LIMITATIONS You must select whether you want to print package-level packing slips  or shipment-level packing slips for your shipments. This release does not support printing both levels of packing slips for the same shipment.

4 x 6, 4 x 6.75, and 4 x 8 package-level packing slips cannot be customized using ZPL format. They are available in PDF format only.

Certificates oF Origin for International Shipments

ShipHawk now supports generic certificate of origin for international shipments that require them. Generic certificates of origin are non-preferential certificates that verify an item’s country of origin. When a user books an international shipment that originates from the United States and this shipment contains SKUs (items) that originate from outside the United States, Mexico, and Canada, a generic certificate of origin will be issued for those items.  You can then print this certificate by selecting the Print Certificate of Origin option from either the Order Details or Shipment Details page.

This certificate is in addition to the USMCA certificate of origin that ShipHawk already supports.  Based on where the items in a shipment originate from, one or both certificates can be automatically generated for an international shipment.

USMCA CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN ENHANCEMENTS

ShipHawk supports printing USMCA certificate for items that originate from the United States, Mexico, or Canada. The  USMCA certificate of origin is a preferential certificate that certifies there is a trade agreement between the origin and destination countries of a shipment.

Improvements to the USMCA Certificate of Origin have been made for this release.  These certificates now specify a blanket period that includes the first and last date of the year the shipment is created. The USMCA blanket period defines the period of time shipment of goods must be accepted by customs.  All fields are populated with the appropriate information found in the order, no configuration is necessary.
