Product Import/Exports View
You can import large quantities of products to ShipHawk TMS from an eCommerce integration or CSV formatted file. Rather than creating a product manually using the Create New Product action, product imports provide a way to get multiple products into your Product Catalog directly. If you choose to import your products via CSV, the file must be properly formatted so that ShipHawk TMS can correctly add orders.
Actions
The Product Import/Exports view contains a grid and a list of actions you can perform in that grid. This section will define the import actions you can perform from this screen.
If you select one or more files using the checkbox in the grid, more actions become available from the Actions drop-down, such as:
Download sample csv file: Click on this action to automatically download a template CSV file to your computer. You can enter order data in this template and use it as the CSV file for importing products.
Import Products: This action will populate the Import Products screen, where you can select an import method. The Import Products function is defined further in the section below.
Export Products to csv file: Click on this action to select an integration you want to export product SKUs for.
Import Products
The Import Products action will take you to the Import Products screen, where you can select a method for importing product SKUs to ShipHawk TMS. You can opt to import your products using a CSV file, or import your products from an eCommerce integration.
Import from CSV File: After you have filled out a CSV file with relevant product SKU data for importing, click the Choose File button from this screen and select your CSV file. You can click the Start Import button to import this file to the Product Import/Exports screen.
Import from eCommerce Integration: You can also have your products from an eCommerce integration (such as Shopify) manually synced to your Product Catalog by clicking the eCommerce Integration option in the Import from field.
