Summary
‘Shipments’ refers to an object used in ShipHawk to reference the transportation of goods. Shipments tell us what is being transported, where it is being transported from and to. A Shipment may be related to an Order, which is indicated by a ‘SH’ next to an order number. Shipments contain one or more Packages. The Shipments History screen (or Shipments Summary Page) is where shipments will appear after an order has been booked.

Shipment History Screen
All shipments that have been manually created, imported through CSV file, and derived from orders will appear in the Shipment History screen. You can navigate to the Shipment History screen by clicking the Shipmens Shipments tab, or clicking the Shipment History option from the Shipments drop-down. This section will detail how to navigate through the Shipment History screen to gather relevant information about specific shipments.
Shipment History Sidebar
The Sidebar on the Shipment History screen contains information about shipment statuses and saved views. The following section defines all fields in the Shipment History sidebar.
Saved Views: Displayed on the Shipment History screen in the sidebar. By default, ShipHawk TMS has five shipment statuses saved as views on the Shipment History screen.
Shipment statuses notify users how many shipments are in each stage. You can also filter your table view by selecting which shipment status you would like to view in the Sidebar. Here is what each shipment status means:
New: New shipments that are awaiting dispatch and carrier confirmation. Usually processed immediately or within a few hours.
In Transit: Shipment has been picked up from the origin and in transit to the destination.
Delivered: Shipment has been delivered to the consignee.
Cancelled: shipments that have been cancelled and not shipped.
All: Displays all shipments processed by ShipHawk, regardless of shipment status.
Save View: Located below shipment status views. Click this button if you want to save the set of filters you applied to your screen as a view.
Actions
The Shipment History view contains a grid and a list of actions you can perform in that grid. This section will define actions you can perform from the Shipment History view.
If no shipment has been selected from the grid, the only option in the Actions drop-down will be to Create a New Shipment. If you select one or more orders using the checkbox in the grid however, more actions become available from the Actions drop-down, such as:
Print ZPL Labels for Selected Shipments: If applicable and your printer has been set up, you can print ZPL labels for the shipments you selected in the grid.
Change Shipment Status to: You can change the shipment status for the selected shipments by clicking on this action and selecting different status.
Update Shipment Sync Status: Use this action to re-send item fulfillment write-back updates in bulk if there is an issue that affects multiple item fulfillment records.
Cancel Selected Shipments: Select this action to cancel the shipments you selected from the grid.
Source System Reference: From the Shipment History screen, you can also redirect back to the source system your shipment originated from by clicking on the corresponding link under the Source System Reference column in the grid.
