Multi-Origin Rating with BigCommerce

Once BigCommerce is connected, you can have the option of using multi-origin rating, where ShipHawk will provide rates based on all the available locations of each item in an order. All BigCommerce locations used for rating should have the code value populated. The code value should match the ShipHawk warehouse code.

Info

All active BigCommerce locations must exist in Shiphawk as warehouses, where the ShipHawk warehouse code must be equal to the BigCommerce location code.

In the Manage Your Account settings for BigCommerce, you have:

  • Enable Multi-Origin Rating? – When enabled, ShipHawk provide rates based on all the available locations of each order item.

  • Sync order with selected rate? – When enabled, ShipHawk generates a proposed shipment based on the rate selected in-cart, and it will ignore other proposed shipment generation shipping policies.
