An End-of-Day manifest is a document that contains a list of shipments the carrier is to pick up that day. Shiphawk allows users to close shipments and generate anEnd-of-Day manifest (EOD manifest) as needed based on date, warehouse, carrier, carrier accounts or even individual shipments.
You can generate this document using the End-of-Day Manifests screen under the Shipments tab. This section will describe all fields related to the End-of-Day Manifests screen.

End-of-Day Manifests
An End-of-Day manifest is a document that provides a list of shipments, allowing for carriers to pick up packages without having to scan each package individually. It contains an overview of the shipments that the merchant intends for the carrier to pick up on a given day or pickup event.
Carriers have different requirements for End-of-Day manifests. Some carriers may require a printed form in addition to an electronic submission, contact your carrier directly if you are unsure of their requirements.
The Sidebar from the EOD Manifests screen contains options to filter your table view by date or carrier.
Close Date: Use this field to search by the date you closed your EOD manifest.
Carriers: Filter your list of EOD manifests by carrier. Each carrier has different requirements for generating and sending EOD manifests.
Actions
After an End-of-Day Manifest has been generated, you can select an action to take from the Actions drop-down. The list of available options depend on the carrier the EOD Manifest was generated for.
Print: Click this button to print a PDF of the End-of-day Manifest you generated. Clicking this action will send the PDF to the laser printer that has been set up for your account.
Download/Open PDF: If you opt to send your End-of-day Manifest electronically, you can use the Download/Open PDF actions to save the document to your computer.
Generate End-of-day Manifest
Click the Generate End-of-day Manifest button to generate an End-of-day Manifest and close all shipments for the day. Clicking this button will populate the Generate End-of-day Manifest pop-up window, where you can configure additional criteria.
Ship Date: The close date for your EOD Manifest. This field defaults to today’s date. Carriers require the ship date to equal today's date.
Shipments processed yesterday can not be included in the manifest unless they were printed with today's ship date.
Warehouse: If you only want your document to contain shipments that were shipped from a specific warehouse, select that warehouse in this field.
Carrier: Select the carrier you want to generate the EOD Manifest for.
After you specify the carrier in this field, a list of shipments will populate in the window.
Account Name: If you only want your document to contain shipments that belong to a specific account, select that account from this field. This field is only available if there are multiple credentials for the selected carrier.
After you click Generate End-of-day Manifest, the document will appear in the table where you can download or print it.
Actions
