ShipHawk WMS New Features
This section provides an overview of the new features in ShipHawk WMS. ShipHawk is continuously enhancing the WMS. Please contact your ShipHawk account manager to let us know about your latest requirements and learn about the latest features.
If you would like to have these new features in your implementation of ShipHawk WMS, please contact your ShipHawk account manager.
Pallet, Case, Each Allocation
ShipHawk WMS now supports a multiple unit of measure (UOM) hierarchy, with Pallet, Case, and Each. The WMS can create picking tasks in different areas of the warehouse based on the UOM hierarchy. This is useful especially if you have different picking zones by UOM and want orders to allocate to those areas based on the UOM (Pallet, Case, Each). Along with Parallel Picking (available from the 2024.5.0 release), the Pallet, Case, and Each (PCE) allocation gives you greater flexibility for order allocation and pick task completion.
Ship@Pick
ShipHawk WMS can now request shipping labels from the ShipHawk TMS prior to shipping; the request can take place any time in the outbound process. For example, the request could take place during wave release, picking at a location, or at the end of an order. This allows you to apply labels to containers as you pick, gaining additional efficiencies and avoiding having to go back to a pack station to get shipping labels. This “Ship@Pick” feature is especially useful if you pick “ship-as-is” items, which are products that ship without any other over-pack or packaging materials.
Pre-defined Cart/Tote/Shelf Setup
ShipHawk WMS has expanded the concept of carts with totes, allowing for pre-defined cart/tote/shelf setup. For example, a single cart can have predefined tote or shelf locations for picking. The shelf (cubby) is defined by the cart or tote with a suffix for the shelf or cubby number, such as T9837-15.
With this feature, when you are picking large batches of orders together, you can start picking by scanning the batch and scanning a cart or tote with a predefined tote/cubby setup. You can scan and confirm the cubby number for each pick. At packing, you can quickly pack an order by scanning the cubby.
Settings for NetSuite Connections in WMS
ShipHawk WMS has added settings in its Administration menu (LOV table) to include NetSuite data elements that were previously populated into operating system level files. This now provides an authorized administrator with the ability to configure the NetSuite connection from the WMS user interface.
Acumatica Integration with WMS
ShipHawk WMS is now integrated with the Acumatica ERP. This standard integration makes it easier than ever to connect your ShipHawk WMS implementation with Acumatica.
