Summary

The default home page for Shipping Manager or Admin users in ShipHawk is the dashboard. The dashboard provides managers with a snapshot of key metrics related to shipping performance. You can return to the dashboard at any time by clicking the ShipHawk logo in the menu bar.  

This section will describe the contents of the dashboard in more detail.

Dashboard Elements

From left to right

Selected Range: The Selected Range tab is located on the left-hand side of the Dashboard page. The Selected Range tab contains a list of date range options for you to choose from. Use this tab to specify the period of time you would like the data on the dashboard to represent.

Total Orders: The total number of orders generated during the selected range. The Total Order Revenue amount represents the total amount of revenue generated from the orders produced during this time period.

Total Shipments: The total number of shipments generated during the selected range. The Total Shipping Spend amount represents the total amount spent on fulfilling the shipments. 

Shipping Cost/ Order: A value that represents Order Revenue and Shipping Cost as  percentage of order value. The Avg. Order Shipping price shows the average cost to fulfill a single order.

Delivery Promise:  Represents the percentage of orders that were delivered within the promised time frame. The Ship Promise percentage represents the percentage of orders that were shipped within the promised time frame.

Shipments and Orders graph: The Shipments and Orders graph is the line graph displayed on the center of the dashboard. It represents output across your operation so you can see orders in and shipments out over time.

You can hover over any given point in the chart to view a specific data point.

Tasks: The tasks card displays a high-level overview of tasks that are being carried out during the specified selected range. You can click on a task to drill-down to the page the task belongs to. 

Lanes: Lanes show the most popular shipping routes your orders take. You can use this card to determine which warehouses receive the most order traffic. 

Performance: The Performance card analyzes your organization’s selected carriers and compares them to one another based on on-time performance (OTP), on-time delivery, average cost to ship, and shipment volume. The card is organized to display the carrier with the best overall performance at the top of the list.

Top Carriers: Top Carriers displays a list of carriers and evaluates them only by the amount of shipments they have booked over the selected range.
