ANSWER
You can now use SPS Commerce to get carton labels from the SPS Commerce library.
ShipHawk integrates with SPS Commerce to allow you to get carton labels directly from SPS Commerce. In this case, ShipHawk sends information directly to SPS Commerce, who then be responds with the carton label.
The advantage of this is that SPS Commerce has already built these label templates according to what specfic vendors (such Target, Walmart, and so on) require. ShipHawk’s integration with SPS Commerce makes it easy to support to a specific vendor’s carton label requirements.
When enabled, from ⚙️ > Settings > Pallet/Carton Labels > Add New Carton Label, you can specify whether to generate a label using SPS Commerce:
Contact your ShipHawk account manager if you would like to use this feature (enabled with the Labels setting ‘Allow generation of labels by SPS Commerce’).
Adding New Carton labels using SPS Commerce
If enabled, you can generate labels using SPS Commerce as follows:
On the ShipHawk TMS user interface, select ⚙️ > Settings > Pallet/Carton Labels.
Click +ADD NEW CARTON LABEL.
Enter a Label Name and specify whether the label will be a Default Label.
On the Add New Carton Label screen, for Generate by: select SPS Commerce (rather than Default).
Once you click the SPS Commerce option, the screen will show the many mapping settings for label generation displayed:
(and more…)
With these settings, you can map how the data elements from an order are sent to the SPS Commerce generated label. Depending on your requirements, you may use some of these mappings, not necessarily all of them. (The settings are described Label Mapping Settings, below.)
You can test the label mappings by clicking RENDER SAMPLE, located in the bottom left corner of the screen.
When done defining the mappings, click ADD NEW CARTON LABEL.
