New Features

The following provides an overview of the new features in the ShipHawk-Acumatica Connector 4.3 release.

Tracking Update in ShipHawk Updates Acumatica Shipment

Sending Packed Orders from Acumatica to ShipHawk

The ShipHawk-Acumatica Connector now provides the ability to send Packed Orders from Acumatica to ShipHawk. When this feature is enabled, packed orders are sync’d from Acumatica to ShipHawk through the shipment's Packages tab.

Increased Number of Reference Mappings

Some merchants need to be able to create more reference number mappings than were currently supported. The connector now supports 10 additional reference mappings, increasing the maximum number of mappings from 25 to 35.

Change Packages Tab Generation for LTL Orders to Show Only Pallet

Some merchants require that  for LTL shipments, ShipHawk only populates pallets in the Packages tab, which helps with sending the right information to SPS Commerce. This functionality can be enabled as needed.

(Internal ID: SHHS-106)

SCAC Code and BOL Number Writeback

ShipHawk now writes back the SCAC code and BOL number for the carrier to Acumatica, so that they can be communicated to EDI customers.

New Features

The following provides an overview of the new features in the ShipHawk-Acumatica Connector 4.2 release.

Optionally Update Shipping Ship-To Address and Contact Information

In ShipHawk, you can change the destination address and contact information for an order right before shipping. This is useful in case the address or contact information  you have for the order is found to be incomplete or incorrect when you are about to ship. Now, if you change the address or contact information in ShipHawk, you can make sure the Ship-To address and contact information in the Acumatica Shipping record is updated accordingly. You can now specify to have ShipHawk write back address changes to Acumatica.

To specify writing back address changes from ShipHawk to Acumatica:

  1. In Acumatica, select ShipHawk > Setup Screens > ShipHawk Setup.

  2. Go to the Import Shipments Settings in Acumatica section.

  3. Select the Update Ship-To address & contact fields checkbox (default is un-selected).

Note that this writeback only updates the Ship-To information in the Shipping record; it does not update the Sales Order address information or the related Customer Locations record.

Automatic Setup of Webhooks for Shipment Data in ShipHawk

The previous release of the ShipHawk-Acumatica Connector (version 4.1) introduced Webhooks for Shipment Data, where webhooks are used to get shipment information rather than API calls.

The configuration steps required that after creating a new webhook entry in Acumatica, you then had to log in to ShipHawk and manually set up the new webhook entry in ShipHawk as well  (this is the “Setting Up Webhook in ShipHawk” task described in the ShipHawk-Acumatica Connector 4.1 Release Notes).

Now, a new webhook entry is automatically set up in ShipHawk after you create it in Acumatica: you do not have to set it up manually as described in the “Setting Up Webhook in ShipHawk” task.
