On the ShipHawk TMS user interface, from the menu bar, select Products > Scan Items.
Next, you select a dimensioner from a drop-down list of the ones that have been registered, and then you can proceed to scan items with it.
From the drop-down, select a registered device:
(If you want to double-check the device’s serial code on the ShipHawk Dimensioner device itself, to make sure you have the registered device: select the gear icon ⚙️ and then select About. On the About screen, scoll down to Device Info section’s Serial field.)
NOTE: If you have PrintNode, the selection will include the Read weight from Scales option.
Select this option if you are measuring dimensions and also the weight:Next, select the ShipHawk Dimensioner device from the Select a registered device dropdown:
Click Next.
The screen for scanning now displays:
Note that the Item # column, the screen keeps a count of the number of the items you’re scanning during this session.
Using the ShipHawk Dimensioner, scan the SKU or UPC code and then the dimensions of an item.
Scan SKU or UPC. Aim device directly from the the front, and press yellow button on side of device:
Scan item dimensions from above, with device’s cameras on its back, and press large yellow button on the device’s screen:
Upload the scan result by press the yellow upload button:The page now shows the results of the scan.
The status icons initially show to indicate the data has not yet been synced with ShipHawk and your ERP.
Note that you can edit the data if you wish to round it up or adjust it further.

A green checkmark indicates the sync is completed:

Keep in mind if you leave the page and discontinue the session, you can continue scanning SKUs later by going to Products > Scan Items.
