Ready-to-Ship Mode

Ready-to-Ship Mode is a shipping workflow in the ShipHawk Web Portal TMS that allows shippers to perform pack verification and label printing for “ready to ship” orders. Ready to ship orders do not require additional data input prior to verifying items and requesting a shipping label. A shipper can use a barcode scanner and skip data entry to quickly process, print labels and fulfill orders that are ready to ship.

You can access ready to ship mode in one of two ways:

Open the Orders drop-down menu, click Ready-to-ship Mode.

Verify Items Screen (Optional)

If your organization has enabled the pack verification setting as part of your fulfillment workflow, the Verify Items screen will appear after you have entered a valid order. If the Verify Items setting is off, this screen will not be part of your shipping workflow, and it will skip to the Print Labels screen.

When all items are verified, ShipHawk TMS automatically books the proposed shipment and generates the associated shipping documentation.

Print Labels Screen

When the order is found and ready to be shipped, ShipHawk TMS books the proposed shipment, and you will be directed to the Print Labels screen. Once a proposed shipment is booked, ShipHawk TMS sends the associated shipping documents to your connected printer(s).

All label formats and printer setting presets are honored in Ready-to-Ship mode. You can print your documents in the following combinations:

  • Label/BOL only;

  • Label/BOL + Packing Slip;

  • Label/BOL + Packing Slip + Carton Label.

These settings are configured from the Settings menu under the Printing tab.

ShipHawk TMS returns the user to the Find Order screen after the shipment is booked and the labels have been printed. You can take further actions under the Shipment Complete widget from the Find Order screen:
