Warehouses are a key component of the ShipHawk Process. Warehouse codes act as a way to Netsuite to associate the appropriate warehouse during the fulfillment process. This means that order line items are fulfilled in the correct location.

Adding Warehouses to ShipHawk

The following section provides detailed instructions on how to add warehouses to ShipHawk.

To add a warehouse to ShipHawk

  1. Log into your ShipHawk account. The ShipHawk dashboard appears.

  2. Click on the Settings icon on the right side of the top menu bar. New menu items appear.

  3. Select the Warehouses link. The Warehouses screen appears.

  4. In the top right of the Warehouses screen, click the + New button.

    The New Warehouse pane appears on the right side of the screen.

  5. Complete the screen.

    Enter a unique code into the Warehouse Code field.

    Enter a name for the warehouse into the Name field.

    Enter your company’s name into the Company Name field.

    Enter the warehouse’s address into the Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 fields.

    Enter the warehouse’s city, state, and zip code into the City, State, and Zip fields, respectively.

    Enter a phone number for the warehouse into the Phone field.

    Enter an email for the warehouse in the Email field.

    Choose whether the warehouse location is a residential or commercial address from the Location Type drop-down field.

    Repeat this procedure for each warehouse you wish to add to ShipHawk.

Adding Alternate Return Address for Warehouses

ShipHawk supports alternate return address locations for any warehouse. Once set, having  Alternate Return Address checked in the Order pane automatically populates the appropriate Alternate Return Address for the Origin Location when fulfilling from a Warehouse Location.

If you do not have the Alternate Return Address setting enabled for your account, please contact your Account Manager for more information.

To add an Alternate Return Address to a warehouse

  1. Navigate to the warehouse you want to add an alternate return address for and select the Alternate Return Address tab.

  2. Complete the screen.
    Enter name for the alternate return address into the Name field.

    Enter the company’s name into the Company Name field.

    Enter the alternate return address into the Address Line 1 and Address Line 2 fields.

    Enter the alternate return address’s city, state and zip code into the City, State, and Zip fields, respectively.

Adding Warehouse Specific Carriers

The following section provides detailed instructions on how to add specific carriers to a warehouse in ShipHawk.

To add a carrier to a warehouse

  1. Select an existing warehouse. The warehouse details appear on the right side of the screen.

  2. Click on the Carriers tab. The Carriers tab appears.

  3. Click the + Add New Warehouse Carrier button. New menu items appear.

  4. From the drop-down select either Small Parcel or LTL and choose the carrier you wish to add.

    An Add Your Account screen appears.
