  1. Go to https://printnode.com/download.


  2. Identify the appropriate download for your operating system (Windows or MacOS):


  3. Click DOWNLOAD to download PrintNode.

  4. Once you have downloaded PrintNode, open the download and follow the prompts to install PrintNode.

  1. Log into ShipHawk. The ShipHawk dashboard appears.

  2. In the upper right corner, select ⚙️ > Settings > Printer Settings. The Printer Settings screen is displayed:


  3. Click the Print With dropdown field and select the PrintNode option.


  4. Your PrintNode credentials automatically populate.


  5. Open PrintNode and fill in with the credentials found on the Printer Settings screen.


  6. You can now access the icon for PrintNode:

    On Mac OS, a PrintNode icon appears in your OS toolbar. :

    On Windows, a PrintNode icon appears in the system tray in the bottom right-hand corner of your taskbar. :

  7. Right-click on the icon and select the OPEN Print Node option.

  8. Navigate to the Printers tab in the PrintNode Client window. Ensure that the printer you are going to use is populated in the print node field.


  9. Return to your ShipHawk window on your web browser, and refresh your browser.

    Your accounts are now connected.

    Now that the PrintNode software and your ShipHawk platform are connected, you can set up your printers. PDF printers are printers used to print 8.5 x 11-inch documents. These documents include packing slips, pick tickets, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.

  10. From your ShipHawk dashboard, select ⚙️ > Settings > Printer Settings. The Printer Settingsscreen is displayed.

  11. In the Label Printer Settings section, select your printer from the PDF Printer drop-down field.

  12. Click the Print Test PDF Label button to test and verify your connection. A PDF should download to your computer.

  13. Select your thermal label printer from the ZPL Printer drop-down field.

  14. Click the Print Test ZPL Label button to test and verify your connection. A test label should print to your selected printer.
